flips and turns is a collaborative website built with Changin Baek, where we build on the concept of Telestrations, but remove the target word and instead create an endless alternation between text and image. Rather than producing text or images for a specific purpose, Baek and I simply respond to what comes to mind when seeing the previous work. By making the process itself the objective, we aim to observe where the conversation between text and images would lead.
